Children Education

Abu Bakr Madrassah (ABM) was established soon after the Abu Bakr Masjid was opened to the public in the holy month of Ramadan in 2013, with the aim of providing Islamic education to the Muslim community in and around Reading. ABM currently provides Islamic education to children from age four and a half to sixteen years. Madrassah also runs short Islamic courses and Quran classes for adults.

It was really great! It was amazing that we had a chance to watch a prayer and to have a "private tour" with imam, he was willing to answer all our questions. Beautiful and interesting experience!.

The children felt that the trip was a positive experience and many felt that their views on Islam had changed. All of the adults on the trip also though the visit was a valuable experience for both the staff and children alike.
