As’Salaamu A’alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
As a result of the new lockdown announced by the government across England, congregational prayers cannot take place at places of worship. Abu Bakr Islamic Centre Reading has taken the difficult decision to suspend all prayers and activities from Thursday 5th November 2020.
This means that congregational prayers within the Masjid (including Jumah prayer) will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
This is a decision that was not taken lightly and has been done to prevent the further spread of the virus and to protect elderly & vulnerable amongst our communities.
We ask everyone to pray salah at home and if you need any help, support or guidance please reach out to us via email/phone. We will do our best to help and support our communities during these hard times.
Finally, we pray that Allah takes away this test from us and keep us all steadfast in our Deen during these difficult times.
Separate communication will be sent to all parents regarding Madrassa classes.
